Predict the future by creating it

In this one day introductory flex course, Prof. Wedekind invites you into the magical musical world of Hagvorts while explaining her nifty scrying trick. Students will enjoy activities that help them to identify a corner of their life that needs inspiration and to iterate changes in that environment that promote wellbeing! Did you know that even one tiny shelf can become a magic portal to a better mindset and thus a better future? Oops. We let the secret out! But you still need to figure out the Scrying Escape Room!

Motivational Mondays

Coming to a young learners teaching platform soon, whimsical Professor Wedekind will be guiding young wizards and witches on a 4 week flex course to find the magic within!

We welcome our non-speaking wizards to join us with emojis and and text at their convenience. Projects will be accessible to a variety of abilities. Our course is the chance to draw/sculpt/paint/collage or emojify a symbol of our inner resilience. Finally students will be given the chance to download a certificate to showcase their "quark"--that quirky inner spark that is just yours and yet so innately a part of the joy in this world as a whole!

Hermetic Harmonies:
Tempo in a Teacup

With witty lectures, magical notebook pages, games, and challenges; students will explore various facets of musical magic both historical and present. Throughout this multi-series, students will learn to mindfully listen, identify facets of intercultural and interspecies musical creativity, and learn basics of traditional western musical notation.

Prof. Wedekind starts off her class by noticing the omen in her morning tea. She then decides to create a piece of music to reflect its mood. She invites listeners to identify what images come to mind as she plays this and then introduces standard musical terms for expressing tempo. During this first 6 week flex course, students will learn to listen mindfully to tempo. Students will invent their own system of notation and magical terms for conveying both rhythm and tempo.
